John joined Nannen Physical Therapy in May 2025. He brings over 36 years of clinical experience and a broad knowledge base developed through working with diverse patient populations.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1989, John moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he gained experience in industrial rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics with a focus on sports rehabilitation and spine care. In 1994, he completed a one-year sports physical therapy internship with The Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he further expanded his expertise in evaluating and treating a wide range of sports and orthopedic injuries.

John returned to Papillion, Nebraska, in 2011 and has since practiced in outpatient, hospital, and home-health settings. He is committed to continued professional growth and has completed extensive continuing education in ASTYM & McKenzie Spine Techniques. John has also completed a Certification in Personal Fitness Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 1996.

Outside of work, John enjoys staying active in the gym, walking with his wife and their dogs, Ginger and Baloo, and traveling to visit their two children, family, and friends.
