Kevin Almquist, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kevin is a highly experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy, having graduated from Creighton University in 2000. He has been a part of the Nannen PT team for 23 years and has a strong passion for sports, physical activity, and helping people. This passion was ignited during his undergraduate studies where he excelled in exercise science classes and learned about the body's response to exercise. With a father who was also a physical therapist, Kevin had a deep understanding of the profession and what it entailed, which only furthered his interest in becoming a PT. Today, Kevin is happily married and has four children who keep him busy with their involvement in various sports and music activities. When he's not at work, Kevin enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or relaxing on the beach, playing golf, and cooking delicious food on the BBQ. He also loves coaching and watching soccer, which is where you can often find him on weekends.

Matthew Thomas, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Matt Thomas is a highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from Creighton University in 2006. With 18 years of experience at Nannen Physical Therapy, Matt has dedicated his career to helping others through the power of physical therapy. His passion for the field began during his own experiences with injury rehabilitation in high school and college. The strong relationships he formed with his physical therapists during this time inspired him to pursue a career in physical therapy. Matt's interest in exercise science during his undergraduate studies solidified his decision to become a physical therapist and led him to graduate school at Creighton University. Outside of work, Matt is a devoted family man, married with three children. He and his family reside in Blair, NE, where they enjoy being active and participating in youth sports. In his free time, Matt loves to watch his kids, golf, exercise, and spend quality time with his loved ones, whether it's on the beach or in the mountains.

Grant Rutledge

Physical Therapist

Grant is anexperienced and passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2014. He joined the team at Nannen PT in 2015, and has been making a positive impact on his patients ever since. Grant's love for sports and desire to stay active at work led him to pursue a career in physical therapy, after experiencing its benefits firsthand in high school. Growing up with a mother who worked in healthcare, Grant has always been interested in the industry and was an Athletic Training major in undergrad. He is a natural at connecting with people and believes that physical therapy provides a unique opportunity to interact with a diverse range of individuals. In his personal life, Grant is married to Tessa and a dedicated father to three active children, Maddox, Grayson, and Tatum. He enjoys coaching his kids in various sports and spending quality time with his family outdoors, whether it's shooting hoops, playing catch, or biking. When they're not on the field or court, Grant and his family love to travel and indulge in their favorite guilty pleasure - snacking on candy and goodies!

Sara Jensen

Physical Therapist

Sara is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, graduating from the prestigious University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2019. With 4 years of experience at Nannen PT, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her patients. But what drove her to become a PT? It all started in high school when Sara had the opportunity to assist in the athletic training room. It was there that she discovered her passion for helping people through the rehab and return to sport process. This was further solidified by her experience working as a Tech at an outpatient PT clinic during her summers. Now, Sara is married with a daughter and a Mini Goldendoodle. When she's not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and indulging in a good Netflix binge.

Troy Post PT, MPT

Physical Therapist

As a PT, Troy has been helping patients for the past 27 years. He received his Master of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, in the Class of 1997. For the past 5 years, Troy has been a valuable member of the Nannen PT team. His passion for helping people and his interest in various science courses led him to choose the path of physical therapy. During his time at UNL, Troy did some observation and worked part-time in different PT settings, which solidified his decision. When he's not working, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, who have been involved in various sports throughout high school. He also loves golfing, boating, fishing, and traveling, and can often be found cheering on the local high school and Husker football and basketball teams.

Nick Krueger

Physical Therapist

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Nick has been practicing for the past 4 years, with 1 of those years being with Nannen PT. He received his PT degree from Creighton University in 2019. The reason he chose to become a PT was because he wanted a career in healthcare and was initially drawn to PT after going through it himself for ACL reconstruction. He saw firsthand how PT helped him get back to the activities he loved. As he learned more about PT, he was drawn to its holistic approach and the ability to treat people through movement and exercise. Nick also believes that PT can help shift the healthcare system towards preventative care. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and playing soccer and golf. He has been playing soccer since he was young and continues to be a fan, especially of, Arsenal Football Club in London.

Mark, a Bachelor of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1985, has been a valued member of the Nannen PT team for 7 years. His interest in this field was sparked by his own experience with rehabilitation after sustaining injuries during his college athletic career. Since then, Mark has dedicated himself to helping people of all ages return to the activities they love through the power of physical therapy. When he's not in the clinic, Mark and his wife Teri enjoy quality time with their family, exploring new places, and pursuing their shared passions for fishing, golfing, and simply enjoying life together.
